Ms. Gigi, Ms. Nikki, Ms. Kyla, Founders
From the church choir to dance recitals and roles in off-Broadway productions, Kyla Maull, Georgette "Gigi" Belton and Nicole "Nikki" Nelson are no strangers to the stage. Growing up in New York City, their entire childhood was spent dancing, singing and acting. Upon relocation to South Florida it was important for Kyla to expose her daughter to the world of the performing arts. However after a failed search for an inexpensive program, she realized that such an outlet, in South Florida, didn’t exist. Rather than give up, Kyla enlisted the help of Georgette and Nicole and together, envisioned a place where talented children could creatively express themselves within a safe environment. This place would be accessible to all children interested in the performing arts, regardless of family income. In 2006, Encore Performing Arts Center Inc. was born. Encore Performing Arts Center Inc. is committed to providing a safe environment and creative outlet for South Florida’s youth. Seeking passionate and dedicated youth, every year, the founders of ENCORE take great pride in grooming children to become future stars as well as helping them overcome shyness, build self-esteem, increase academic scores and most of all build and sustain new relationships within a diverse environment. ENCORE performs original productions written and directed by the trio. Kyla Maull, Georgette Belton and Nicole Nelson sincerely appreciate the tremendous community support, which continues to help keep ENCORE alive! This dynamic team writes and directs all Encore shows! NOW THAT'S TALENT!

Ms. Tiffany, Vocal Director
Stemming from a love for youth and community service, Tiffany Hoggan joined ENCORE in 2007 as a volunteer. Some say she started singing before she could talk so it was no surprise when she came on board as Vocal Coach in 2009. At the tender age of three she stood before the congregation in Brookyln, New York and belted out her first song. After relocating to South Florida Tiffany went on to study voice, drama and dance at Mitzi Rader’s School of Dance and Performing Arts. Early exposure to the performing arts led to appearances, all over South Florida, in community theater, grand openings, social events, weddings and more. At Dillard School of the Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Tiffany’s instructors nurtured her love for singing and musical theater with continued training in vocal disciplines from Italian opera to traditional gospel and everything in between. Tiffany brings a wealth of vocal expertise and encourages the children of ENCORE to share their talents with the world. Her motto is simple…”Music is everything, so SING IT!

Mr. Allen, Music Mentor (Music Theory)
Mr. Allen, Music Mentor (Music Theory)
Educator, musician and family man, Allen Paul joined Encore in 2014. Allen Paul started to play the piano at the tender age of 3, taught by his mother, a elementary music teacher. His high school years were filled with discoveries of jazz, blues, funk, gospel, and classical piano which culminated in a 1st place award in the Florida State Concerto Competition. As a result, Allen performed George Gerswhin’s Concerto in F with the Tampa Bay Symphony at age 18. Allen continued his studies as an undergraduate at the University of Miami School of Music, at first in classical piano program, but soon his desire to fulfill his creative side won out and he switched to jazz piano. Never one to be limited to one style, he then collaborated with vocalist Neville Peter to start the R&B band “Soul Station”. Made up of 6 jazz students that loved pop and soul, they quickly built a campus following. Allen also began writing songs for the band, and one of his compositions “Come My Way” was the song the band selected to play during the 1996 Mastercard National Talent Search. The band won the Southeastern region and came in second place nationally with a performance in Anaheim CA. Choosing to focus on the gospel field, Allen became a minister of music in a large Baptist church and built a reputation as a top notch gospel musician. Allen still enjoyed jazz, and after a while he began playing at local open mics again. Once he was re-introduced to the South Florida jazz scene, he quickly became a sought after sideman - playing for events at Miami’s jazz radio station, WDNA 88.9; performing on recording sessions with steel pan jazz master Leon “Foster” Thomas; and twice performing with bands at the Jazz in the Gardens Festival in Miami Gardens. He continues his Christian music career as well, having recorded with worship leader Mary Alessi’s album “Pressing On” in 2010. His latest project, the jazz fusion trio “Unclazzified”, released a five song EP of original music in May 2014. Currently he is the pianist-in-residence for “Flow Fridays”, a weekly music and poetry event at Piano Hollywood, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
